Our men’s section will be fielding 5 open-age sides in 2019 and welcome any new players for the following teams:

  • Premier League (PL)
  • Premier League Reserves (PLR)
  • Pennant B (PB)
  • Pennant E (PE)
  • Metro B (MB)

When are trainings?

  • Tuesday: All teams 8:30pm to 10pm at Albert Park
  • Wednesday: Speciality Training as advised 7pm to 8pm
  • Thursday: MPL and MPLR 7pm to 8.30pm at Albert Park

Men’s Competition (Open Age)

Powerhouse St Kilda Hockey Club Men’s Section will be fielding 5 open-age sides in 2018 and welcome any new players for the following teams:

Women’s Competition (Open Age)

We welcome anyone and everyone from new players, international travellers to juniors – we encourage you to get involved in the Senior teams listed.

Tuesday:  7pm to 8.15pm at our home ground at Albert Park for Pennant B, D and Metro

Thursday: 8.15pm to 9.30pm at our home ground at Albert Park for PL and PLR (warm up 7.45pm)

Juniors’ Competition (Under 18s)

Powerhouse Juniors welcomes all new players from beginners to experienced players.
In 2020 we hope to have 10 girls, boys, mixed teams entered in the Hockey Victoria Winter Competition, including Shield, Pennant and District teams from U12 – U18s.
We also offer a great U10 local competition as part of the Central Flames which is played on a 1/4 field and uses modified hockey rules.
We run a Hookin2Hockey program for beginners in Terms 1-4.

During the Summer Season, Powerhouse Juniors are also very active in our local Summer comp 6s and HV Indoor Hockey comps at MSAC.

Winter Training

Regular training for juniors is at Albert Park Hockey and Tennis Centre (Hockey Drive, St Kilda) and starts after the Grand Prix in late March. Please refer to our junior webpage for more information regarding our Hookin2Hockey programs, age group eligibility and preseason training:

  • U10s/H2H – Monday’s
  • U12s -Tuesday’s
  • U16s – Wednesday’s
  • U14s – Thursday’s

Master’s Competition (Over 31s)

Masters hockey provides an excellent opportunity for players aged 35+, both new and experienced, to enjoy playing hockey with flexible mid-week play, when growing families or busy lifestyles make weekend play difficult.

We have a range of Masters teams available, and one of them is sure to provide the right competitive and/or social environment to suit your playing requirements.


  • Men’s Masters 35+ and 45+: Monday evenings
  • Men’s Masters 50+: Wednesday evenings
  • Women’s Masters 35+: Wednesday evenings
